Warracknabeal Gears Up for Annual WAG Christmas Festival
Warracknabeal is set to sparkle once again as the annual WAG Christmas Festival returns on Sunday, December 14.

Gates will open at 5:30pm, with a vibrant line-up of performances kicking off from 6pm.
This year’s program features special guest performers, the Warracknabeal and District Band, a community choir, and the ever-popular kids’ segment that locals look forward to each festive season.
Families are encouraged to arrive early, with children’s activities starting from 5:30pm.
Young festivalgoers can enjoy a jumping castle (weather permitting), face painting, and an exciting new addition to Warracknabeal—Furals Wooden Art Workshop, offering hands-on creative fun.
Level Up Gaming will also be on site, and of course, Santa and Mrs. Claus will be making a special appearance.
A variety of food vendors will cater to hungry crowds, including Helen’s Coffee Van—with both hot and iced beverages—alongside a fish and chip van, Get Whipped Ice Cream, the always-popular Lions BBQ, and hearty baked potatoes from the Community Garden team.
Organisers recommend checking directly with individual vendors regarding dietary requirements.
The event’s organisers extend heartfelt thanks to the festival’s generous sponsors, Wilken Group, Bentley Group, Emmetts, Pony Express, Warrack Electrical, Warracknabeal Action Group, Jiger Kotecha from Spagricon.
Their support ensures the continuation of free children’s entertainment each year.
“Events like these truly take a village,” organisers said, acknowledging the dedication of their small working team who have brought the festival together.
Entry is just $2 per person. Attendees are encouraged to bring picnic rugs and chairs to settle in for an evening of festive fun.
Please note that alcohol or glass is not permitted at the event.
Warracknabeal residents are invited to bring their Christmas cheer, community spirit, and a sense of celebration to this beloved local tradition.
