UN Disability Day at Bowling Club
In recognition and support of International Day of People with Disability, Hindmarsh Shire Council will be hosting a celebration at the Dimboola Bowling Club on Monday, December 8, from 10am until 2pm.
International Day of People with Disability is a United Nations observed day that aims to increase public awareness, understanding, and acceptance of people with disabilities and to celebrate their achievements and contributions.
The theme for 2025 is ‘fostering disability inclusive societies for advancing social progress.’
The celebration at Dimboola Bowling Club will include a barbecue lunch, music, activities including Lawn Bowls and giant games.
Everyone is welcome to attend, but booking is required.
