Scorching temperatures break records, weather stations

From Horsham to Hopetoun, Nhill to Longerenong, extreme heat pushed temperatures into the high 40s across the Wimmera and Mallee this week.

RECORDS were broken on Tuesday when the mercury hit 48.9°C at Hopetoun – an equal top for Victoria – and Horsham got to 47.8°C.
