Rainbow’s Big Sky Festival on April 6 is set to bring together another unmissable lineup of live music alongside more than 20 market stalls and a range of activities.

Festival organiser Ben Gosling said the family-friendly event at The Oasis will have plenty on for all ages.

"It's a good family day," he said.

"The first two festivals were really great days, so this year is sure to be another good one."

Rainbow’s Twilight Market will begin at 2pm and run alongside a range of activities for children and parents until 6pm.

Raffle tickets will go on sale at Martin Keller’s Newsagents on April 5, and can also be purchased at the event to support the Oasis’ biggest fundraiser of the year.

Live music will commence at 2.30pm and run until around 8.30pm on the Oasis Stage, showcasing top artists such as Five-time Golden Guitar winner Pete Denahy, four-time ARIA award-winning entertainer Nicky Bomba, and the Lazy Farmer’s Sons.

The night will continue at the Eureka Hotel afterparty, featuring The Shorts.

Admission to the festival is free; EFTPOS is accepted at most stalls, but cash is preferred, and a range of food and drink will be available.

"Come along and support the locals, have a catch-up with family and friends," Mr Gosling said.

"We have a wide variety of activities, the music will be great.

“Hopefully the weather will be good and we have a good turn out."

Attendees are encouraged to bring along chairs, picnic blankets, and drink responsibly as they enjoy the night’s entertainment.

Nicky Bomba has performed in the Australian music industry for decades, and is the driving force behind the Melbourne Ska Orchestra, as well as serving as drummer in John Butler Trio.

Pete Denahy will also grace the Oasis stage with his blend of fiddle tunes, bluegrass-style original song and madcap comedy.

And the Lazy Farmer's Sons are making their long-awaited return to their home stage with their unique Australian ranging from haunting ballads of north-winds and the devil's plough, to lively tunes about hotels and drought-stricken drunks.

The Blues Berries and Taylor Project will also be performing their timeless classics for everyone to enjoy.
