Kate and her team in the Rainbow Sustainability Group have reached a significant milestone, making 500 reusable Rainbow Redbags for the community.The bags are free for anyone to use, helping reduce single-use plastic in town.
Residents who have spare Rainbow Redbags at home are encouraged to return them to the Courthouse, Rainbow IGA, or martin's/Pasco's, so they can be reused.
The group is also seeking donations of spare fabric for bag making, which can be dropped off at the Courthouse from Tuesday to Thursday.
