Minor premiers crowned: Warracknabeal Bowling Club finish first
Division one was at home to Murtoa on February 7 for the last of the home-and-away bowls rounds for the season.

Rink 2 found Graeme Shalders, Josh Barry, Jing Robertson and Brett Johnson playing Calvin Pendlebury, Daymon Kerrins, Barry Balintine and Hamish Gawith, where in a tough-fought game with the lead changing six times and the game level on five occasions, the locals finished a little bit stronger to sit at 30/22 at the end of play.
On rink 4, where Ron Baron, Edna and Peter Anderson, and Shane Powell played Doug Gardy, Rebecca Gruar, Ross Tegelhuter and Christine Campbell, the locals took command of the game early to be 11 shots up at the halfway point and cruise to a winning 27/18.
Rink 6 had Rod Sinclair, Brian Taylor, Norz Belot and Michelle Powell playing Tony Barker, Anton Kerrins, Brian Hamilton and Paul Brown.
After a slow start by the locals they finally gained the lead by the midway point with two shots up.
A stronger second half to finish at 26/13 sealed the game with an overall score of 82/53 for the three rinks and top position on the ladder with 206 game points 170.06 per cent score 1119/658.
Division two again did not play, taking a walkover from Hopetoun.
Disappointed by not being able to play three of the last four games of the season, the players had a good practice season before the start of the division one match, with a full team turnup.
Well done, division two, to finish the season on top of the ladder with 198 game points 194.56 per cent score 965/498.
It's been a very good season representing Warracknabeal Bowling Club with great sportsmanship throughout.
The midweek pennant team also finished the season on top of the ladder with 184 game points 162.95 per cent score 955/586.
Warracknabeal's three pennant teams have performed very well this season, finishing on top of the ladder in all competitions – a great achievement, so well done, Warracknabeal bowlers.
