The Warracknabeal Men’s Shed is extending an invitation to the community ahead of its annual dinner.

Held on December 19, the annual dinner will celebrate the past 12 months and showcase the organisation's achievements through 2025.

“All men are welcome to call in and just have a look,” president David Robson said.

“New members are always welcome too.”

Mr Robson acknowledged the great comradeship at the three weekly get-togethers in the Apex Shed on Cemetery Road in Warracknabeal.

The group meets every Monday, Wednesday, and Friday from 8am to 12pm, though some men arrive as early as 7am.

“Many projects have been completed this year, including fire-kindling with more than 1000 bundles sold locally,” Mr Robson said.

“We also engage in furniture restoration and projects for the schools.

Plus work with the Boys’ Shed, and other service groups.”

Mr Robson said men are welcome to work on their own jobs, with most materials and tools provided.

Additionally, they are always welcome to call in for a cuppa and a social chat.

The annual registration fee is $10, and the shed's contact number is 0434 009 861.

The shed will reopen on January 15, 2026.
