Hopetoun P-12 wrap-up – Week 3 Term 3
By the Community Connections Class

Principal Day
On Friday, August 1, we celebrated this year's Principals’ Day.
Miss Smith, the school's newly appointed principal, was celebrated by students and staff for her hard work, leadership, and positive impact she has made towards Hopetoun P-12.
To thank Miss Smith, each year level hand-made a lovely thank you card, as a small memento to acknowledge her efforts as principal so far.
School Photos
Lights, camera, action! It’s that time of year again, where all students and staff show off their best smile for the annual school photos.
Whether it was the individual portraits, family, class, or whole school photo, each and every person was looking sharp, primed to their absolute best for the camera.
Year 11 Subject Selection
The time of year is rolling around once again, where students are encouraged to think about what subjects or VET courses would most likely assist them to their preferred career pathway.
Subject selection is a lengthy but exciting time for the Year 9-11s. Whether you are interested in doing Legal Studies to become a lawyer, Biology to be a nurse, or maybe you just aren’t sure yet and want to keep some doors open.
There are endless possible subject choices, which makes it evermore fascinating to watch students select the subjects they are most interested in studying.
