The Pool Superintendents' Association of Australia (Victoria) believes the legislation will be introduced soon to cover compulsory training and licensing of pool operators.

Now, a verbal battle which has been taking place between the association and the Shine of Walpeop has been brought to the attention of Milton Whiting, MLA for Mildura.
Shire Secretary, Barry Cross, said the 'battles' have risen because of the extracts of circulars sent by the association to the council.
One circular said: "It has been indicated to us by officials of the Government department which controls the payment of subsidies such as public swimming pools, that they are concerned that the pools are operating in the best public interest.
"It is believed that every public swimming pool should be controlled by a qualified operator."
This, and other circulars, have led the Walpeop council to believe the whole purpose of the exercise is to ensure that municipal councils will be forced to employ 'trained operators' for all public swimming pools.
Devils are too strong
Hopetoun avenged their defeat of five weeks ago by completely overrunning Woomeland/Laschelles in the game at Hopetoun.
Except for a short period in the latter half of the second quarter, the Combine never really challenged their opponents.
At this stage, Hopetoun led by 11 goals to three when the visitors unleashed a burst of five goals.
This prompted Graeme Cooki to move from full forward to the ruck, and Hopetoun came back with five quick goals to have a big lead at half time.
