Using attendance data, staffing levels and financial records from the 2024/2025 season, the Council has proposed several changes to the operation of the Jeparit, Rainbow, Dimboola and Nhill pools.

The adjustments aim to maintain free entry for the community while ensuring responsible use of ratepayer funds.

Key proposed changes include shortening Sunday hours due to low attendance, raising the minimum temperature for opening from 23 degrees to 25 degrees, and introducing one scheduled weekday closure per pool to support staff and maintenance needs.

The Council has also outlined revised hours for weekdays and weekends at each location.

Residents are encouraged to provide feedback on the proposed changes before decisions are finalised.

Community can submit their input online at haveyoursay.hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.

For further details, residents can contact Jennie Hauselberger, Coordinator of Sports and Recreation, on 03 5391 4444 or via email at jhauselberger@hindmarsh.vic.gov.au.
