College, RSL link up for Anzac Day

Ahead of Anzac Day, Wimmera Lutheran College partnered with the Horsham RSL to help preserve the tradition of honouring veterans.

A group of lower primary Quiet Club students created the Anzac Day crosses.

They designed, decorated, and assembled crosses to mark the graves of veterans who bravely served our country.

Students who made a cross include: Liam, Sopia, Harriet A, Audrey, Monti, Indy C, Naomi, Riley, Paige, Tilly, Elijah, Boston, Noah, Gracie, Dallas, Anna, Pearl, Tessa, Mieka, Bessie, Emlyn Esme, Mahira, Bri and Lucy S.

The crosses were taken to the Horsham cemetery and placed on graves by RSL volunteers.
