Celebrating International Women’s Day
The Junior Red Cross and Mission Group from St Joseph’s School recently hosted High Tea to celebrate International Women’s Day.
Val Carra, Judy Becker, Marilyn Clancy, Olive Wellington, Glenda Hallam, and Marge Poulton.
The celebration, which coincided with World Day of Prayer, was supported by parishioners from the combined churches of Hopetoun as well as members from service groups in the community.
Guests enjoyed delicious sandwiches and slices, made by the students, while sharing conversation and fellowship.
The gathering was a wonderful opportunity for people from different groups to come together, strengthening the sense of unity in Hopetoun.
