Buangor fatality one of six lives lost on Victorian roads this weekend
A man has died in a collision in Buangor, while two people were taken to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.

Emergency services were called to reports that a car had crossed onto the wrong side of the Western Highway and struck another vehicle at about 10.55 am.
The driver of that car, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.
The driver of the second vehicle was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
A female passenger from that vehicle was flown to the hospital with serious injuries.
Investigations into the Buangor collision and the other serious crashes this weekend remain ongoing.
Anyone who witnessed an incident, has dashcam footage or any other information that could assist police is urged to contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000 or submit a confidential report online at www.crimestoppersvic.com.au.
Since Friday, July 4, Victorian police responded to eight serious collisions resulting in six deaths and four life-threatening injuries.
Three people from the same vehicle were killed following a collision at Bolinda on July 6.
On July 5, two people died following a collision between two cars and two motorbikes.
On July 4, a 16-year-old boy died when a ute in Bentleigh struck him.
Road Policing Command Superintendent Justin Goldsmith said while investigations were still underway, many of them were a result of a single act of non-compliance or inattention.
“It’s no secret that ultimately serious collisions occur due to a lack of respect for the responsibility that comes with being a road user,” he said.
“Every life lost is one too many, but what we have seen this weekend has been devastating, and there are many families whose lives have changed forever as a result of the trauma on our roads."
There have been 156 lives lost on our roads this year, 15 more than the same time last year.
