In a tightly contested match early on, the Demons managed to secure a slim lead with the only goal of the first quarter. However, they quickly found their rhythm, dominating the second quarter by kicking four goals while keeping their opponents scoreless.

This commanding performance allowed them to enter halftime with a formidable 32-point lead.

The Demons continued their dominance in the second half, staging a procession in the final quarter to secure a comprehensive 10.7.67 to 0.1.1 victory. Goals were shared amongst the team, with Lauren Hawkins, Vanilla Ika, Tash Mustafa, Tatiarna Nelson, Hailey Puls, and Abby Ward all making significant contributions to the scoreboard.

Holly Nuske stood out as best on ground. Nuske's standout performance follows her impressive display on the netball court the day before for Noradjuha Quantong against Harrow Balmoral. Crystal Summers and Catherine O'Dea also distinguished themselves as key players for the Demons.

In an earlier match, the under-18 Demons girls faced a tough challenge against the Terang Mortlake Bloods, ultimately falling short by 15 points. Despite a valiant effort, the Demons struggled to gain momentum, with the Bloods maintaining control throughout the game.

Greta Arnel was recognised as the best player for the Demons, with Amaya Woodward, Violet McGennisken, and Scarlett Abbott contributing goals.

Looking ahead, the under-18s will have a bye this weekend, providing an opportunity for regrouping. Meanwhile, the senior women's team will hit the road to Pedrina Park for their next match against Hamilton, aiming to build on their early success.
